YWPN RACIAL EQUITY STATEMENT
At Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN), most of our students are people of color who come from low-income households where often they are the first in their families to graduate high school and attend college. Racism is unfortunately something they have experienced firsthand their entire young lives. We stand against all manners of racism and social inequity. As educators, we work to end systemic racism to prevent intolerance and bigotry so our students, and others, can work to build a world where race does not dictate health, longevity, safety or success in life. Through our voices and actions, we will be part of the solution.
